Huge News!! GPYC BPT Ltd wins a second round of The National Lottery Community Fund funding!
Over a year’s worth of planning and work went into our funding bid and we are very excited to announce three years’ worth of funding for GPYC starting from this month. Our Trust has won £225,000 to deliver our flagship youth club night, every Tuesday and Thursday evening, until 2027. The fund also funds two of our Trust directors, Rob Clayton and Diana Monkhouse, who both work part time making sure everything at GPYC works, from facility management to legal requirements, from capital investment projects to managing the range of partners who use the space. The Trust works tremendously hard to keep GPYC open and growing and this funding is a great endorsement of all our work and our achievement from saving GPYC to running a great venue offering so much support and opportunity to young people and our community.
Helen Bushell, Head of Regional Funding for London, the South East and East of England at The National Lottery Community Fund said, “We’re delighted to continue supporting this vital community space, which is such a focal point for local people. We’ve heard so many great stories of how Grove Park Youth Club has transformed young people’s skills, relationships and confidence.
