Mobility Platform & New Front Door Ready for Installation

The mobility impaired platform is booked in for January 11th 2023 installation and this work is partly funded by our successful LBL Ward NCIL bid and with core Trust funds. It is a bespoke platform purpose built for our building and has taken a lot of planning and cost to install. Even the holes being drilled into the concrete steps must be done with diamond drilling by a specialist company so as to not risk any damage to our listed building.

Our brand new front door, based on original designs, is ready to install also - a delay to installation has been caused by a shortfall of skilled workers but we hope to have an installation date very soon.
